Nine Months Continued.. Oh, it's worth the read.

So I neglected to mention a few updates on the lovelies' milestones in the last post.  Both girls are babbling da-da's, ga-ga's, ya-ya's, ma-ma's, na-na's... I'd like to say that they "know" who da-da and ma-ma technically are... but I am not sure that's the case. Anyway, they are also very proud of their 'patty cake' and clapping skills. Unfortunately, every time I break out the camera, be it still or video and ask for some clapping, the ladies do not oblige. Go figure.  They are also very busy standing in their crib, trying to get those legs up to get over the edge. We have very confident standing with only one arm holding onto the gate or crib rail for support, which is so funny to watch.  Did I mention the cheerios, the cheese, the bananas, peas... that the ladies are feeding THEMSELVES? In addition, they have been enjoying yogurt, cottage cheese and even hummus, lentils, and chicken.  Regular epicures we have on our hands here..

So what better way to celebrate 9 months of age than to adventure to an indoor "gym"?  Friday was a miserable rainy day here, so we met up with some other mothers of multiples at a local indoor play place called "Busy Bees" where there are activities for kids of all ages, from exer-saucers to arcade games.  We spent our time in the baby area-- but wow, did we have fun.  The girls enjoyed some stand up toys, push toys, rocking horses, play houses.. and.. ready?? a ball pit-- a germaphobe's worst nightmare-- a pit full of plastic balls- it was, however, dedicated to small babies (mainly, those who like to put everything IMMEDIATELY into their mouths).  So welcome to 9 months, darlings, here are some germs to wash it down with.

In other news, our precious furry first born has been so neglected of attention that he has adopted some new hobbies; ie: reading Danielle Steel novels, sudoku, and crossword puzzles. Photos below.

  1. Where has the time gone! I'm getting all weepy that Jack is now three weeks old, and look at these girls at nine months!
They continue to be absolutely adorable.
