Two, four, six, EIGHT! EIGHT MONTHS!

My big eight month olders... oh how much fun we are having. The girls do not understand day light savings time, obviously.. they are only 8 months old! ha! Anyway, lots of babbling, lots of screeching, a lot of crawling and climbing by Audrey while Evie is fast on her way to crawling but holding steady with her military crawl.
TEETH! Each babe has a visible tooth, both have their bottom right toof! Pictures below..
As far as food is concerned; lots of sweet potatoes, peas, bananas (their favorite), cereals, puffs, baby mum-mums (another favorite), yogurt and all sorts of yummy fruits and veggies..
The girls are starting to reciprocate when being held.. holding back and putting their heads on our shoulders with affection. I swear that Evie tried to give me a kiss the other day.. ok so maybe a 'kiss' is a stretch, it was more of an open sloppy mouth coming at my face.. maybe she was trying to teeth... hmmm  The jolly jumper and exersaucer are still big favorites as well as playing in the 'pen.' We love our daily walks and its a great quiet time for all three of us.. we fed the ducks the other day which was fun although those ducks are quite aggressive. All in all, things are awesome. I keep thinking how fun, exciting and adorable each stage is and I don't want it to end and then the next one comes and blows the latter away. I love you, my sweet little babies!

Evelyn showing off her tooth.

Ok, so the "we are 8 months old" sign, didn't quite work this time...

Not sure what to say here..

Evelyn waiting for the fun to begin

Audrey is ready for the camera, wouldn't you say?

I love it when Evelyn makes this face.

The next two pictures were absolutely sequential, Evie looking at Audrey and...

then.. Audrey checking out Evelyn.

Miss Twin B.. she's so flexible

Audrey taking a well deserved nap.. love the position.

7 months old!

I don't know how it happened, I really truly don't; babes are 7 months old, just too much for me to handle!
Did I mention that they are both babbling 'da da da' now? I think I may have. Audrey gets on all fours and rocks back and forth but can only really move backwards. Evie pulls herself along on her hands in a forward motion. We are working on the sitting up skills. I will capture this all on video if they ever return my video camera (went into the shop for repair and the timing couldn't be worse).
Audrey will take your toys away, beware; while Evie is much more gentle. They are eating more and more baby food each day. Evie likes to do her hair with her food, its quite charming actually- if she gets the food on her hands (which is inevitable because she will grab the full spoon from your hand and its practically impossible to pry away from her with her death grip) then she runs her hands through her hair, back and forth a few times. Audrey likes to talk while she eats, a habit I'm trying to tell her is not very lady like but she doesn't seem to care, therefore, the food is everywhere with Audrey.
Everything is going really well.. they are delightful and adorable and I just can't get enough of them, I love my girls so much!

Breaking news!

I put the girls in their pack-n-play this afternoon and as usual, placed them on their backs. I left the room and went to change over the laundry and get a drink. When I came back, Evelyn was on her stomach asleep with her pacifier in her mouth!!! I didn't see it happen but apparently she rolled over! Yaay! Oh and Audrey was laying right next to her screaming her eyes out.
