Baby Rocks n' Rolls !

The girls and I have been taking a weekly class called 'baby rocks n rolls'.  Its a great class for the girls to let out some pent up energy with all sorts of fun activities. The last day of class was last week and it was celebrated with a trip down to the water fountain..

Peek-a-boo

I play peek-a-boo with the girls to a level that might be considered borderline psychotic... but it makes them smile and laugh, which in turn melts my heart, so I will not stop until they tell me they are over it. My favorite episode was just the other day when I was popping up over the crib like a jack in the box and after several turns and burning thigh muscles from all the squats, the ladies figured out that they could just pull down the bumper and see me before I popped up. It was hard to capture this with the camera very well, but you'll get the idea--

Come out, Come out, where ever you are!!

The girls were not in the mood for their afternoon nap today, no matter what I tried. We took two walks, we listened to music, we read books, we played, we tried and tried and tried to nap, to no avail.  Even Leonard gave it a try; he slept on the floor in front of their cribs, to entice the girls, and when that didn't work, tried playing a game of hide and seek to tucker them out.  Nothing worked. Needless to say, I am exhausted and ready for bed; night night... We'll try again tomorrow!

Afternoon Fun
